Great story. I wish it wasn’t a cliffhanger. It wasn’t good enough for me to spend $6 plus on the next installment.

I loved this book couldn't put it down. Emma Walsh is single and lives with her three cats and she has signed up for a dating app. Marcus Carelli is a very wealthy man and he has decided to go to a matchmaker to find the perferct wife. Emma reads a text from someone named Mark that wants to set a date. Marcus agrees to a date with a womane named Emmeline Summers and he's looking forward to meeting her. When Emma arrives at the restaurant she sees a man sitting alone so she approaches his table, but when they talk Emma gets upset because he turns out to be a jerk. After meeting Emmeline right after Emma left, Marcus noticed that she didn't make him feel anything like the beautyful red head that just walked away. Marcus decided to find Emma and get her out of his system, but after being with her he soon knew he couldn't let her go.

Not even going to try to explain why but I was. Started this book on a lazy Sunday morning and didn’t stop until I finished it. Maybe I’ve just not read a book for a while or maybe it was just what I needed but it was definitely what I wanted. Have book two on pre-order so for those who want a complete work, beware. You will fall and the ending is definitely a cliff hanger that leaves much to be desired, hence the preorder. Honestly, it was just nice to read and a recommended book from Kitty Thomas. She never disappoints with her email recommendations. Maybe I’ll pick up some of this author’s other work. Highly recommended if you want a more vanilla billionaire romance with lots of tension and plenty of steamy interactions. This book loves to get to the primality of it all. 😜

I can’t wait for the next book.

I feel like this book was not the usually style but it definitely was a miss for me personally. I had a hard time relating to the to heroine and just an all out hard time getting Into the book. While I will admit it does get better and more bearable as you go on, from the beginning I just struggled to like the heroine. I won’t say she is childish but maybe the initial writing made her seem so immature. The reason for the 3 stars is because the writing is still great as usual, and as mentioned, it does get better as you go on. It’s a very sweet book and If that is what you usually go for (and it something I don’t) then this is for you.

Hot Dominant Alpha male falls for Crazy Cat Lady but can they make it through everything thick and thin. Anna Zaires really brings a different touch in this book from her other darker and dangerous males. The sexual build up from the beginning for the male lead Marcus and our leading lady Emma is something we can all relate to in relationship that seems to good to be true and that has a spark occurring every-time you touch each other. What makes this book unique is though Marcus is rich and has everything he could want, he doesn't carry the ignorance that some males do carry in books similar to this, he really takes time to think and figure things out before doing. This really makes it hard for Emma to figure out where to go as she has a past from her mother taking advantage of men with money and running away with it and just doing what's good for her and not for her own child. Emma just lives for herself and doesn't care to have the best she lives for herself and doing what she loves, while having a great family support from her grandparents who helped raise her to be proud of herself. When the sex finally happens it becomes toxic and nonstop but when bad news hits Marcus regarding his job he ends communication for close to four days and when he finally reaches out Emma denies him and will not listen to him, and just wants to be left alone. What happens to a hot and angry man who will not give up on what he know's is his, well we must wait for the next book. The cliffhangers continue which make waiting for the next book the hardest but leaves the imagination open for anything. If you haven't read Anna Zaires before please do she is an amazing author with great stories from dark romance to sci-fi romance. This book was so funny and very interesting. It sort of reminded me a little of the courting between Me. Grey and Anna in Fifty Shades of Grey. However, this was definitely sexy, fun and a page turner. I loved every minute of it. I would have finished it in one day, but work got in the way. Anyways, I’m so mad that the book left me with a cliffhanger, should have expected it...😊but way to go Anna. Although this isn’t the type of story you normally tell, it is equally as good as all of your other books👍🏾👏🏾❤️!!! I can’t wait for the continuation of Marcus and Emma’s story😁!

I’m a fairly new fan of Anna Z. Having read 2 books books prior- all paranormal- and I love how she was able to switch it up! You have a stock broker billionaire and a frugal cat lady who couldn’t be more opposite, accidentally meet on a blind date. Emma wasn’t exactly checking off all the requirements he wanted in a women and Marcus wasn’t the man she hoped for but sparks flew anyway! This is a wonderful story on how opposites attract but not your normal fairytale of happily ever after. It does end with a cliff hanger, however it will leave you wanting more!! Great book and I would HIGHLY recommend! Finished in a day had my complete attention. ** was given an advance copy for an honest review**

Great plot, questionable execution. I really liked the plot and premise of this storyline, and as I started reading I really fell in love with the character of Emma, where although her past has burned her, she’s also become a stronger person because of it. When her and Marcus meet on accident, a dating app blind date gone wrong if you will, the whole situation had me laughing so much! And while I got that both of them didn’t think they should be together yet continued to get together, I knew it would end badly for one of them. But I hated how Marcus had just cut her off without any warning, and it made me feel for her, although I also feel that she should’ve heard Marcus out on his reason why. I wasn’t aware it was a cliffhanger, so be aware of that, because the cliffhanger is completely abrupt (at least to me), but it makes me so excited to see what happens next with Emma not giving in! I voluntarily read and reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book.
