4.5 stars This is the second book in the Molotov Betrothal series, and it picks up where the first book left off. Alina is doing her best to deal with her new reality as the wife of Alexei and they are off on a yacht away from the world. These two have what would be categorized as a contentious relationship. However, the time they are forced to spend together has some things shifting but it is two steps forward, three steps back. When all is said and done here, there are some surprises that Ms. Zaires has thrown into the mix that will have readers clamoring for the next book. In comparison with some of the author’s other series, this one is a little slower but after a fashion picks up steam and I look forward to seeing where the journey takes these two.

I truly have no words for this story Anna wrote. I’ve never felt so many emotions, at times conflicting regarding Alexei and Alina. The passion between them is so intense and electric it’s impossible for the reader to not love them! I couldn’t put this book down because I’m so invested in these two. This story broke my heart but I can’t wait to read what comes next. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

I absolutely LOVED the first book in the series so couldn’t wait to jump into this one! This book was definitely setting the stage and building up to the next installment! Alexei was just as intriguing! There was SO much push and pull between him and Alina!! There wasn’t a lot of action, but more interactions between them! And LOTS of steam!!! Alexei is ALL alpha when it comes to Alina! He is VERY protective of her at every turn (reminder this is a dark romance)! Alina is trying to wade her way through her new existence, one she has been fighting for years! There will definitely be another book so it does end on a cliffhanger! This didn’t bother me as I love the anticipation of what’s to come! Can’t wait for the next book and to see them open up to each other! PS: I loved Ruslan in this book! I don't even know how to review this book, but what i know that Anna did it again and again and again i love her books she had a great writing style Everything flowed so smoothly that it sucked me right into their world. I was waiting for this book more than a year and i wasn’t disappointed it was amazing heartbreaking story . I love Alexi he is so sexy ,protective and he love her so much. I do enjoy this book alot i love it so much and I can’t wait for the next one Hope it will come sooner

Beautiful Chains built the tension and intensity between Alexei and Alina, and that had me glued to the pages! I loved Alexei’s possessiveness yet caring nature in this book. Alina frustrated me in this book. “She’s attracted to me, always has been; it’s her mind that’s placing obstacles in our path.” That right there was what frustrated me! There was a twist I absolutely did not see coming, and now I wait for book three! *I requested and received an advanced copy of this ebook, and I am voluntarily leaving my honest review.
