Loved the way she is brought into the fold of the story. It’s a fun one.

My first “reverse harem” book, not sure it’s my thing, but this one is well written…clever, witty, action packed. Think zombie apocalypse but with vampires, clearly inspired by the Covid pandemic. Spoiler alert: it’s a cliffhanger.

This book was an e-ticket ride from the beginning through the end. Loved the Vandemic and the evil nerises! Great characters with a lot of action. Can’t wait for the next one!

In this new depiction of Earth, the planet is being consumed by a Vandemic. A virus is turning people into vampire like beings. Also in this “world” real vampires exist, along with fairies, werewolves, Sirens, and more. Not exactly as previous incarnations these preternaturals or “Prets” are a little different from those I’d read about before. Avery thinks she is human, thinks she is alone in the world and she is hanging tough. Meeting Lysander, Charles, and Tarin sends her on an action packed thrill ride. And we get to tag along in this exciting fantasy tale.
