    This isn’t a book, it’s the novelized version of a tv pilot that didn’t get a series order. Even the mysteries left unanswered aren’t enough to make me want to pick up the next in the series.

    It’s an easy read, but the plot never thickened. Nothing happened to keep me wanting to turn pages. And the ending was ambiguous because it wants you to go into the sequel, which is fine, if the ending is a suspenseful cliffhanger, but it wasn’t.
