The sixth and final installment of the Hangman series finds us hot on the tail of those in it up to their necks. With Jo having to take a backseat, Jake is working at a swift pace. Determined to find both Kyle and the Hangman once and for all. But then, Kyle is just as determined. The Hangman, even more so. All the players are taking their places on the stage, and it’s moving at breakneck speed. No time to spare, and who will come out in the end? Will there be justice? In full disclosure, I read this in exchange for an honest review. This has been a good story. A tad bit more filler in this one, though everything moved very quickly. This was a fast read. And I think, ultimately, a satisfying ending. Endings, really. The story could have gone a couple different directions, but this is the way I would have chosen, for the most part. If you’ve been enjoying the story, you won’t want to miss this.

An amazing end to the Hangman series that was well written. This intriguing storyline has Jake trying to catch two killers by himself. Jo was shot in the last book and has to recover. This has suspense, murder, twists and turns that had me devouring the pages. If you love a good murder thriller this is definitely one you need to read. With Jo in recovery, Jake has to deal with corruption and chasing down Hangman by himself. There’s only one person left on the Hangman’s list, but will Jake get to him first? What an amazing conclusion to the Hangman series! I couldn’t stop turning pages until the end! This book, as well as previous ones in this series, will pull you in and keep your interest all the way through. I’m never disappointed with this duo’s writing filled with suspense, mystery, twists and turns that keeps you on your toes! I’m sad to see such great characters go, but hope we will see more from detectives Jack and Jo sometimes in the future. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

This book has Jake missing his partner Jo but she’s in the hospital. He’s trying to stop Kyle from doing anything else but with the Hangman after him to take him down it’s a race to get to him first. But the FBI says it their case but Jake doesn’t know who to trust as things aren’t as they say. With this conclusion coming who will come out getting Kyle or the Hangman?
