Delta gives us another story keep you on the edge of your seat in anticipation of what secrets will be uncovered within the continued evil vs good plot while also giving us the spicy romance fix needed. Tevryn is sent to seek information on individuals suspected of working with the Shadow League. Then he sees his eternal flame, Delaney, and his mission becomes focused on keeping her safe. Loved the banter and unwavering support for each other between Tevryn and Delaney. Such an absorbing read! I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Dark Fire, book #3 in the Winged Warrior series, is a very worthy addition to the series. The overall story arc continues. We get to know another Phantom Fire warrior, Tevryn. He’s been assigned to observe and gather information about another suspected player in the approaching war between the Shadow League and the Resistance. But, best laid plans…😉. He sees Delaney across a room. For him, it’s all over. He’s found his eternal flame, and his whole existence shifts. (Sigh). For having no clue as to shifters, dragons, fated mates, Delaney falls pretty quickly too. (Don’t you wish that happened more IRL?). Their chemistry is hot! But Tevryn has to figure out how to let Delaney know about the whole dragon thing. And Delaney, who has some issues of her own, has to accept that a guy as great as Tevryn, does truly want her! And, of course, that whole bad guy/bad dragon conspiracy interferes. Still, you can trust Delta to get them to their own HEA, all while advancing the ongoing story. Things aren’t completely revealed yet, so you have to keep reading. There are 3 series involved, with some others popping up too! How she keeps it all straight! There’s enough info to read as stand alone, but honestly, why would you want to? I can’t wait for the next one… whatever the series.
