Absolutely loved Pippa and Dillon. Both characters are major alphas, even though Dillon is the Dom and Pippa is the sub. The storyline is well thoughout, the dialogue is perfect and sometimes downright hilarious. This is a great addition to the Club Southside series and one that is definitely worth reading. The only problem is, I can’t give it a higher rating than a 5 because this story definitely qualifies. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and are voluntarily leaving a review.

Pippa is the mermaid comic and has had threats but she doesn't want her brother Seth to find out. Dillion is a new team member at Cerberus and best friends with Seth. Dillion was a Chicago Police Officer until they made him the scapegoat for what happened with Samantha's case. In this fourth installment Dillion is trying to figure out who is sending threats to Pippa. BDSM is mentioned but nothing like the other books in the series. I’m so happy Dillion joined the team and found his happily ever after. He sees through Pippa’s defenses straight away. I love how he just waits her out, when she rages. I would have enjoyed a punishment scene but it was amazing without it. I’m obsessed with the Cerberus group (England and US). If you haven’t started into this world of doms and ops. then you need to get on the ASPA. I’m so excited for the next book about Miley. I absolutely loved this Curvy girl story! Pippa is the mermaid comic who obviously can be quick with the comebacks. She is Lots of fun and very open. The excitement was very page turning!! Dillon is a new hire for the Cerberus group and like the rest is a walking talking hunk!! put these two together and you have steam everywhere!! I adored their trip from Chicago to St. Louis. I loved The Rookie: A Steamy Romantic Suspense Book 4 of Club Southside. Dillon took the fall from the police department for helping Cerberus so now he’s the newest member. His first case is protecting Seth’s sister Pippa. He’s instantly attracted to her and his Dom side really wants to work with her. He’s here to take care of her and maybe teach her a little about the real Dom/sub relationship. This story has it all the drama, the suspense and the steamy scenes. I loved the storyline and the characters. She’s feisty and funny while she’s serious and protective. I would definitely recommend this book and the series. Dillon lost his detective job when he helped Cerberus find the person who had threatened Samantha so they didn’t have to admit they were wrong, so Cerberus hired him. Pippa was Seth’s sister and was a comic getting threats so Dillon was assigned to her but to explain his presence they were creative. Didn’t guess the person who was behind the threats. Good book!.
