Tom graduated from the GSB in June 1972. Time for a break so he and Martha travelled to Europe to attend George Johnson’s wedding in Belgium. They spent time in northern France, visiting WW II sites in Normandy and saw friends in southern Germany. They visited Jim Wooldridge in Stuttgart and Andy Gothreau in Bavaria and returned to Palo Alto to relieve Martha’s parents of their babysitting ordeal.
