Incredible You by Lili Valente is the third standalone book that is based on the Magnificent Bastard Consulting Company. The writing is an embodiment of the title; Incredible. From the first meeting of Jake and Shane is phenomenal - from his soft voice and no bull attitude to her lusty reaction when she had thought she may have been broken in that department it had been so long since it had been active. There isn't anything that Lili Valente has written that I haven't loved and this is no exception. The drama from the stalkery ex, the building attraction, the sacrifices made. It is all so worth it. An absolutely fabulous read - better enjoyed after reading Magnificent Bastard and Spectacular Rascal but can totally be read as a standalone. Enjoy!

This is the third in the Magnificent Bastard series of novels written by Lili Valente and I have loved them all, but this was my favorite. The novels are romantic comedies, written and narrated in alternating persons, which makes them so much fun to read. In this book, Shane, who we met in book 2, starts working for Sebastian Prince, the original Magnificent Bastard, as the first female member, and her nickname is Magnificent Mess. She is to help Jake "The Dragon" Falcone, a NHL hockey player for the New York Rangers, who has a crazy ex-girlfriend who is ruining his life. This book tells the story of how Shane and Jake get to know and help each other. I love Shane; she has no filter, she's stubborn, and always says what's on her mind, even when she shouldn't. I also love Jake; he's an athlete who grew up poor, and his family had a bad reputation, but now he's a very private person who is determined to make a better life for his family and himself, but he is also stubborn. I love these charachters' senses of humor. It makes this story so much fun to read. Seeing how their relationship develops is so exciting to read, and the way that Lili writes always makes me feel like I am going through the story with the characters. I would recommend this book to everyone who enjoys romantic comedies! I can't wait until the next Magnificent Bastard Novel comes out!

A Review of Incredible You by Lili Valente MBC strikes again! - 5+++++ stars Bash has taken on a new client, which requires the assistance of a female operative. You may remember her from the second book in the series -- she is the vet that Cat and Aidan took Fifi to after she was knocked out by the bad guys trying to get to Cat. Bash convinces her to take the position, even though she doesn't need the money and has her hands full running her late Aunt's foundation. Unfortunately, she has heard the stories about Jake "The Dragon" Falcone, the NHL player accused of choking his girlfriend. This is nothing like either of the other interventions MBC has dealt with and there were some parts that just make you slap happy. Shane isn't really sure that she can trust the hockey player or that he is telling the truth and the last thing she wants to do is help someone who mistreats women. She's seen her fair share of abuse in her life and intends to steer clear of any trouble. Until she actually meets Jake and the chemistry between the two of them is so far off the charts that she's in fear of her panties completely melting away. The more time they spend together, the more she learns about him. When she is accosted by his ex-girlfriend and is threatened, she realizes that this could be more dangerous than any of them thought. When someone loses a few too many screws, what are they willing to do to get what they want? How far will Keri go when she hears that Shane is carrying Jake's baby? And, when bullets fly, will they all make it out alive? Such a good storyline, with strong characters. Stars: 4 Pucks! I loved the promise of this book, Shane and Jake are awesome together, they fit like a metal puzzle piece welded together. The drama/adventure of the book was great and kept me on my toes through the whole time. I admit I had a bit of a hard time with Shane's name, my brain didn't want to accept it and would change it to Shana; but that's not an issue of the book, nor is it the fault of the author. I really did enjoy this book, it definitely makes me want to check out the other standalones in the series!

Incredible You is another spectacular story by Lili Valente. It is filled with sass, humor, sexiness, banter, danger and love. Everything we have come to love and respect from Lili Valente, brilliance. We first met Shane (the vet) in Spectacular Rascal. In Incredible You, she is the new addition to MBC. Shane is one tough chick and is not afraid to tell it like it is, but also has a very giving side that always wants to help. That is how Bash was able to persuade her to join the team and help out NHL hottie Jake Falcone. Jake needs to get his crazy, mentally unstable ex girlfriend out of his life once and for all. What better way then convince her he has moved on with a new woman, his new girlfriend Shane. Jake's ex has made it her mission to ruin his image by making up lies of abuse. Shane is reluctant to believe that the rumors are false. So when her conversation about how she feels is overheard by Jake, well not the kind of first meeting you expect. However, Shane soon finds out that Jake is really a great guy who got involved with the wrong kind of crazy. As Shane and Jake get to know each other better what turns out as make believe turns to "Oh So Right." The undeniable attraction that Jake and Shane have for each other is of the tracks and they can not deny what they want anymore. However, someone doesn't want them to have their happily ever after and do whatever she has to to make sure that doesn't happen. Well done once again Lili Valente. I loved Jake and Shane as a couple and have added them to my list of favorite couples. I especially loved the epilogues, funny as ever Lili, and brilliant.

I was so excited when I realized that Incredible You is part of the Magnificent Bastard brand. This one brings the you Shane a/k/a Miraculous Mess and she is set up to help client Jake “The Dragon” Falcone a famous hockey player with a deranged ex. In typical MB style these two are supposed to be in a strictly working relationship ONLY…. But as you know, that doesn’t always work well when you are playing like a couple in love, especially with the amazing chemistry these two have! Another awesome book by Lili Valente! <3

Loved loved loved it!! Incredible You is, well, incredible. I don’t know how she keeps doing it, but Lili Valente has written another fantastically entertaining, fun and sexy story again including even a little suspense. I absolutely loved Jake and Shane from the very beginning and though I didn’t think it was even possible, they have now become my favorites of this series, or maybe they are at least tied for first. Jake is in need of some intervention to try and finally convince his ex that their relationship is over. To that end, he has opted to enlist the assistance of a professional who can help him get the job done. In need of a woman’s touch this time, the owner of MBC persistently badgers Shane to help with this new job to which she ultimately agrees. But Shane and Jake’s first meeting is initially threaded with a bit of friction. Despite this, however, they both feel an immediate and undeniable attraction. And although their relationship was supposed to remain strictly business the sparks swiftly begin to fly. This intense passion ultimately and very quickly consumes them both. But Jake’s relentless and demented ex refuses to accept that things are over between them and will do anything she can to bring Jake and Shane’s romance to an end. Will she ultimately succeed, or will Jake and Shane overcome her continued attempts at thwarting their love allowing them to finally find their happily ever after? Ms. Valente has again included the fun and amusing banter exchanged between the characters not only through the dialog but through text messages as well. I must say, she absolutely has a gift for that not to mention the hot and steamy passion exuded between them. I loved the first two books in this series, but Incredible You has completely blown me away. I really enjoy the alternate POVs of both Shane and Jake. It’s so much fun knowing what’s going through the minds of both the hero and the heroine which allows me to get into their heads to know exactly what they are both feeling. Ms. Valente has also given us a fun and entertaining surprise at the end including a second epilogue. I obviously cannot be specific, but what a fantastic conclusion to this incredibly sexy and entertaining story. Ms. Valente, you definitely scored a goal with this one.

Incredible You is just that....incredible! I loved Jake and Shane. What a sweet but intense love story! Jake, The Dragon, is a professional hockey player and he is trying to save his reputation after his ex-girlfriend tries to wreck it and him. Hiring Magnificent Bastard Consulting to help he meets Shane, aka Miraculous Mess. Jake had no idea where this would go once he met Shane. Together they plan the perfect story to send Keri away. Well, they had no idea just how crazy Keri is! Of course the sparks fly between Jake and Shane in one of the best love stories but when Keri finds out they better watch out because Keri has her "crazy" on. Loved this book!!
