Book Synopsis

When is a summer vacation not really a summer vacation?Sunny Lewin has been packed off to Florida to live with her grandfather for the summer.     This book is really good. I read it recently when I saw it at the library. I am pretty mature for my age. I first read this book when I was 11 and didn’t completely understand it. I does have drugs and alcohol in it. If you are a parent and your child gets freaked out about drug and alcohol addiction then this book isn’t the best for them. If I was a parent I would let my kid read this at 12 or 13. If you know your kid is mature enough for this topic then there ready to read it. This book is also good for kids who are dealing with addiction in one of their family members because it teaches them that there are kids going through the same problem.
