Book Synopsis

Nancy Thompson lives with an overprotective police officer father, her parents divorced and her mother barely present. She's also been having way too vivid nightmares about a "boogeyman" with claws in a fiery boiler room. After having a dream where her mother is killed, Nancy learns the following morning that her mother has in fact died in her sleep. Soon, Nancy realizes that her boogeyman is all too real. Abstaining from sleep, she tries to find the answer to what or who the man of her nightmares is and how to put an end to it. A re-imagining of Wes Craven's "Nightmare On Elm Street".

Good book, I love Freddy Kruger’s story. Only thing I’ll say bad about this is no back story on Freddy or how he was killed, would have loved a chapter on that. Enjoyable and full of the stuff we love about Freddy

The book is way to slow and it doesn’t make any since at some parts of the story. The book is way to sexual and it makes the story more weird then horrifying. This book could be better if it had more action. The last part of this book is probably the best part of the whole book. This book deserves a one star because of the horrible story line

The author did an amazing job recreating an iconic horror movie into a novel. A must read for fans of A Nightmare on Elm Street. Unlike the awful film remake, this novel stays truer to its roots. A simpler story involving much less people than the original film. But, it shows a deeper connection between Nancy & Freddy. Hopefully the author's promise of a trilogy to this novel sees the day of light.
