I paid for a short story? Not a book? Grrrrrr

A very delightful and amusing read! Especially for a daydreamer like myself. :)

This was a very good book, because every little thing through Walter Mitty into his own imaginary world. I recommend reading this book.

Took me all of 5 minutes to read this “short story”. Loved the movie, but talk about “loosely based on”. Basically the gist of this story is this guy daydreams a lot. No plot, no beginning, no ending

I have seen both movie adaptations of 'The Secret Life of Walter Mitty' but somehow missed the short story that it was based on. I'm glad I took the time to read this, because it painted pictures that not many authors are able to convey in such a short piece of work.

It’s a fun short read. If you saw the movie then this book helps to frame where the movie is coming from. It should take you no more than 10 minutes to read and less than that to put a smile on your face!

A day dreamer myself, I connected with Walter Mitty – in the movie. I didn’t realize it was based on a story. I decided to step out of my own Secret Life and read this little book to see where Stiller got his inspiration. What a rich story in so few pages! I loved it. I love Walter Mitty even more now.
