    This storyline initial seem promising but went downhill fast. The storyline feels choppy and rushed. Because of how the storyline developed there was a disconnect with the main characters. I finished the book hopefully that I would make a connection with the characters, but sadly it just wasn't in the stars. I loved the authors other book Sold on You, and just thought I would be equally enthralled in this book however it just was there.

    Cookie-cutter characters. Trite circumstances. No surprise at all who the stalker actually is. Supposedly, a stand alone of a series. Sorry, I'm not a fan of this writer: I've lived in the city where this supposedly takes place, and none of the excitement and the originality of the location manages to surface.

    Maybe I've read too many of these things but the story seemed shallowly contrived and plotted out, so for my taste I would've given it 3 stars if there hadn't been some odd things. For example it starts out with this uber-male going into what seems like a purely female salon, decorated in pink, Because he heard of the great organic products but he immediately becomes a jerk when she uses those products. I felt the hostage situation and restaurant deal was Literally unreal--who would enter a crowded Miami hotspot on a weekend nite with a ski mask and kidnap someone? I felt the writer tried to throw some last minute kinks in the works but it ultimately leads to a unsatisfying and rushed conclusion.

    I loved this book! The chemistry between the two main characters is sizzling. Marisol, the heroine, is independent and spunky. And Clay, the hero who is trying to protect her from a stalker, is HOT. I wish I knew him in real life! I also liked the suspense in the story -- an overall fun, sexy read!
