Murder's a steal—but Martha's on the case!
Senior sleuth Martha is always ready for a new adventure – especially one with intriguing possibilities. When she and her fluffy dog Teddy begin volunteering at the thrift store in the small town of Gold Leaf Valley, she's also hoping to scoop up outfits for her self-produced retired lady detective TV show.
Pru, her twenty-something roommate, is interested in hearing about the daily goings on at the thrift shop.
But when murder strikes, it's time for the senior sleuthing club to spring into action! And as president, Martha calls the shots.
Who could be the killer? Mrs. Dewberry, a lonely older lady? Pip, the fun young cheerleader who lifts everyone's spirits? Jill, who's run the shop for years? Or Daisy, the shy volunteer who gets muddled up at times when working the register?

As Martha, Pru, and Teddy sort out alibis and look for clues, they stumble upon a surprising revelation.
But when the killer pursues them, can they escape in time? Or will have they have enjoyed their last hot chocolate – forever?
