I never read “self help”books. This was my first. Excellent book. Easy read but seriously thought provoking. This came a a perfect time. I might read it again .
I didn’t fully appreciate how much I needed “The Let Them Theory” until now. I often struggled with putting others’ thoughts and feelings ahead of my own, but this book has reminded me that I have the power to control my own peace and happiness. The stories and real-life experiences shared helped me make connections and apply the solutions to my own relationships. I’m already noticing positive changes in my life. Thank you, Mel, and thank you to your daughter for generously sharing your insights with the world.

Empowering. So much to take in and practice. Loved her suggestions and examples. Very easy to read and digest. Applying may be a bit more challenging but Let Me, because I can. Thank you for helping me to process this together with you.

This book is just what I needed to restart! It has been very liberating to apply the “Let Them” theory to my everyday life but even more liberating and excited for “Let Me”. I recommend this book for anyone that may need a refresher on taking your life back!
As a psychologist

As a psychologist, I was deeply moved by this book. It appears to be wonderful articulation of the personal responsibility (and subsequent power - Spider-Man’s uncle had power and responsibility backward - with great responsibility comes great power) aspect of existentialism.
But it’s more than that. Way more. It’s because the author and her daughter Sawyer wrote the book with tremendous courage, candor, and energy.
The book is definitely in Mel Robbins’ own voice. If you listen to her podcast, her enthusiasm is infectious and it comes through here.
I am grateful I read this book and hope you will too.
