Book Synopsis

Austin

After being honorably discharged from the Army, I move back to my hometown of Bearclaw Ridge to figure out my next move. When my friend Falcon asks for my help fixing the gutter of his vacation rental, I jump at the chance. I need something to distract me, and working with my hands is what I do best.

Only when a fiery redhead hits me with a frying pan do I realize I'm fixing the gutter of the wrong house. I promise to make it up to her, but what I didn't count on was falling fast and hard for her.

I shouldn't. There's an age gap of ten years between us, and my time in the Army has left me skeptical of forever.

But resisting the woman of your dreams is easier said than done when she lives right next door…

Crushing on the Next-Door Mountain Man is a short and steamy age gap instalove romance with an ex-military hero. It's full of heat and heart with NO cliffhanger, NO cheating, and a Guaranteed HEA. This book is part of Men of Bearclaw Ridge, a steamy instalove romance series set in a small mountain town where every insanely hot guy finds a curvy woman to love.

I loved Crushing on the Next-Door Mountain Man Book 6 of Men of Bearclaw Ridge. This is a short and sweet story. Austin mistakenly goes to the wrong house to repair the gutters and meets Casey. Now he can’t stop thinking about her but he’s scared to care about someone. Good advice sends him to her and hopefully to the start of their future together. I loved the storyline and the characters. I would definitely recommend this book. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

Crushing on the Next Door Mountain Man is sassy and funny goodness! Austin is a genuinely helpful and nice guy, although afraid to open his heart after the horrors he experienced at war. Casey is a sassy, spirited woman with a heart of gold. Watching these two crush on each other is just too sweet, and their bold banter is hilarious! Mrs Jenkins, their mutual neighbor, is a wise and wonderful supporting character, and I can’t wait to get to know Falcon better too. This was a rambunctious and sweet novella!
