    What do you get when you take Scrooge and Buddy the Elf (from the movie Elf, obviously), handcuffed together at a cabin in the middle of the woods? Only the most hilarious Christmas romance ever. Going in I just wasn’t prepared for the level of crazy Natalie has for Christmas. She kidnaps this hunky Scrooge on a mission to convince him to love Christmas and instead maybe she’s falling in love with him. Gabe is out to hide his traumatic and just pretend he hates Christmas for no reason. So when Natalie’s family shows up to the cabin early, will Gabe continue to try and escape back to the city or will the Christmas spirit finally warm his heart? Sarah Ready is a master at the hilarious banter between her mains (honestly Natalie’s grandma is also amazing and I need to bake gingerbread cookies with her too), the *spice*, and of course a fast and hard romance with a happy ending. Another stand-alone within the series, you don’t want to miss the rest of these books.
