The large hadron collider in Switzerland fires its proton generators for the first time with a newly discovered element. At the point of the collision hundreds of mini wormholes open around the world.
Nicholas Halls is a night shift lorry loader from Southend who is caught in one of the wormholes. After the event he spends three days in a coma and looses his job.
Running out of cash he discovers a new talent of being able to change into Anyone he sees or meets, including fictional characters.
