This will always be one of my favorite books. It is just so real, a real depiction of life, with all its ups & downs. How life changes you without even realizing. The two leads has such a chemistry and a way of connection that just flows through the pages. Even the quotations before each part adds depth to the book. I just love it.
  • Captivated

One of the best books I've ever read. Without knowing it, I fell in love with the characters- laughed and cried with them. Was even sad when I finished the book. Must read!
  • Mostly very good...until the ending

    By Pevbles
I really enjoyed this book, particularly the way the story was told on the same day each year. The reader not only got to think about what would happen in the next year, but be apart of putting it all together retrospectively. The characters were very well developed, likable and real. I have to say the ending was disappointing. It dragged on way to long and was a bit confusing, and the reason for 4 vs 5 stars

Very well written, was completely captivated by the characters. The ending was sad and abrupt. But this is definitely a classic. My goodness, the author made love and life so tangible and real. Unbelievable. I'm going to read everything he ever writes. I hope the movie doesn't ruin it for me.
