Deceptive Knight

There are so many twist and turns in this story. Just when you think you know what’s happening, things are thrown into the mix that changes everything. I was so glued to kindle trying to figure things out but still came up a little short. The chemistry between Lilly and Rey was hot. Incendiary hot! I can’t wait to get to Sam’s story. That should be a doozy.

Deceptive Knight is Book 3 in The Street Kings interconnected series. Books can be read as stand-alone’s, but to get the most out of the series I would highly recommend reading books in order. With each book we are pulled deeper into the Kings world and there isn’t anything these men won’t do for the ones they love. Sienna continues to build the suspense behind how their world works and the players at the table. These characters are complicated. Their lives are messy and raw. This is a dark romance that takes us into a world where rules are meant to be broken. Rey and Lilly’s second chance is littered with lies, not all bad, but those you tell to protect the ones you love. Lilly’s walls are mountainous and all Rey wants is to tear them down. Their chemistry is scorching and they are so in tune to one another. Fate made it so there was no one else for either of them…or Rey just “dickmatized” Lilly… I mean who would complain either way? Reyhan King had many faces, as does Lillian Lennox, their jobs required it to be so. We are immersed in the world of the CIA, Interpol, and the BND in this very intriguing tale. Told in dual first person narrative. We begin 8 months ago and travel to and from the past and present as we learn all about Rey and Lilly’s relationship. Their affair should have never of began. They should have never fallen in love. Both undercover working their jobs it happened anyway. Then Lilly made a choice, one that destroyed them, but ultimately saved Rey. Then she disappeared. Pawns in a larger game, unbeknownst to them, they find themselves face to face. Rey manipulates the situation to bring Lilly out of hiding. But, this just makes the plans of the people pulling the strings that much easier. As they come together for a job, one that is supposed to right all of Lilly’s wrongs, what they had together all those months ago resurfaces and is stronger than ever. The powers that be are in for a rude awakening…

What a ride!!!! Reyhan and Lillian are a second chance at everything but will they have a future? Reyhan is determined to make Lillian his forever. Lillian is working to save everyone she loves. This story digs deep into a society that goes after an underworld using whatever means necessary. Rey, being a CIA agent is no stranger to this world but he is shocked to find out how close he was to it. I adore Lilly and her lack of being able to follow orders. She is highly intelligent and is a highly sought after hacker and programer. She sees things she thinks no one else does. And she acts on it. Rey... What to say about Rey. He is as alpha as you can get. He is used to being the one who sees things ten steps ahead and has met his match in Lilly. He is a force to be reckoned with. And once Rey sets his sights on someone, he refuses to take no for an answer. There are times in this book when being honest would have made their road so much less bumpy but ten again it made for some great banter and conversation between them. Not to say there aren't some steamy holy hotness portions. Ms. Snow never disappoints in the intrigue or the fiery connections.

This is another great book in this series. I need to issue a tissue warning. It is highly emotional and I could have used some sitting in the doctor’s office waiting room this morning. My mask was soaked lol. Rey aka Reyhan King is the brother featured in this book. Besides being a King and all that involves he is also a CIA operative. He met Lily, aka Cora, on one of his jobs. Unknown to him she is an operative for Solon and she had to shoot him to save him from a hit. She is now working in the art gallery with his sister in law. These two fight hard and love hard but she doesn’t think she can keep him. This one has action, suspense, romance, danger and hot steamy scenes.

The Street Kings just keep getting better. I am obsessed!! Sienna Snow took it to another level. 🔥Second Chance (hello I am drawn to that troupe) 🔥Espionage 🔥Fake Identities In true fashion, Sienna Snow wrote a serious kick a** female lead. There hasn’t been a heroine of Sienna’s that I haven’t loved and Lilly was no different. “Haven’t you read enough suspense stories to know a good villain never reveals her secrets?” The espionage and suspense of this story had me hooked. I couldn’t put the kindle down. And of course, I have to mention the serious heat factor that goes with each story Sienna writes. Seriously, all the 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥. If you want a true escape and to go on a fantastic story, pick up Deceptive Knight. You won’t regret it.

I flipping love this series and ‘Deceptive Knight’ was even better than I imagined! With every book this series continues to get better and better! Lilly and Rey are phenomenal characters. They are both strong, they fight for what they want, and they’ll stop at nothing to protect the people that they love. It was so comical to me that they both wanted to keep each other safe, but were trying so hard to keep the other out of the loop on why they were doing what they were doing, especially Lilly. The twists and turns in the story kept me on the edge of my seat, and I couldn’t put it down! I loved getting to catch up with the rest of the King Family and I am dying for Sam’s story. Absolutely fantastic addition to the Street Kings series.
