    Matt and Nikki share the same problem - they cannot be who they really are to most people who surround them. Nikki’s sister’s death weighs heavy on her and she has tried to be the perfect daughter to make up for the huge loss to her family. Matt’s parent’s divorce lead to a stressful and lonely childhood when his dad collapsed under the weight of his sadness. They collide while both of them are working for the Wolves, an NFL team. Nikki and Matt think they are nothing alike and that they could never be together, but when they act on their attraction, they slowly see there is more to the other person than they originally thought. But Nikki’s dad is Matt’s coach and the rule against dating his daughter comes between them. I have read all the other books in this series and have loved them all. You would not need to read them to enjoy this book - it works as a standalone - but I do recommend them. I read an Advance Reader Copy. This is my honest review.
