    A surprise tease for a new series.. exquisite torture! Love notes gives us a little background for Love Song for Liars - or even just a ‘in between’ update if you’ve read the Wicked series. I thought I couldn’t wait for the new series, and now I know I can’t. Quick fun read to give you an idea of how much you’re going to LOVE Love Song for Liars! So looking forward to reading Annie and Tyler’s story. April 29th can NOT come quick enough!

    Did you LOVE the Wicked series?! Or are you brand new to Piper & just love YA, angsty romance?! Either way, this prequel is LIFE ya’ll!!! I can’t even put into words how much I freaking LOVE that Annie & Tyler are finally getting their story told. And this prequel will have you wanting, no NEEDING, to read A Love Song for Liars (Rivals book 1)!!! Get ready for an amazing ride for these two. It’s going to be EPIC!!

    I loved Jax and Hayley in Piper Lawson’s Forever Wicked series so I’m excited to see them again in Annie and Tyler’s story. They are friends who have great potential as more when they grow up. This short story shows Annie as a high school junior in a snobby prep school where she does t conform because she’s Annie! Jax has Tyler move to TX and in with them for his Senior year because of trouble he’s having where he lives, and go to her school without warning her. And boy is she surprised. What follows is typical teenage angst and drama but very untypical characters. You can’t help but root for Annie and Tyler, both individually and as a couple. I can’t wait to see their story as adults, please Piper hurry up and write faster!

    My heart won’t stop pounding. Annie and Tyler met in New York and were best friends. They lost touch when Annie moved to Texas with her rock star father but Tyler is back to work on his music. Annie is frustrated because Tyler never returned any of her communications to him. School is also a challenge with the mean girls targeting her. Tyler comes to Annie’s rescue at a party so just maybe they can be friends again. Oh boy, does Annie get a shock. This duo is awesome and I can’t wait to find out how their journey unfolds.
