Jess is just hoping to find her birth mother in this small Texas town and escape a painful past. But when her car breaks down and this sexy sheriff comes to her rescue what is a girl supposed to do? Many beloved characters from some of her other books make this feel like you are reconnecting with old friends. Loved it. A little suspense and enough tension to make this really enjoyable.

3.5 Not as good as the first book in this series but still a good read and I love a Christmas romance.
