Chris, you have a gift! It’s so much fun to get to know her characters and their stories! I highly recommend that you start at the beginning of the series—they just get better!

Alan is a writer with write’s block. On a suggestion from his grandfather, he takes a cabin at Hart Land in hopes of getting back to writing. Hyacinth is the local vet, and granddaughter of the owner of Hart Land. She gets called to rescue Alan from a 4-footed interloper in his cabin. He gets a chance to help her with her dream, a wildlife rescue center. Along the way, they discover much much more in the way of mutual attraction. This was a great addition to the Hart Land saga. I especially liked seeing the writer open up to the love of kittens and all things Hart. Great read, Chris!
