Book Synopsis

Return to the world of Clockwork Boys in an all new novel of sword, sorcery, and romance by T. Kingfisher!

Halla is a housekeeper who has suddenly inherited her great-uncle's estate... and, unfortunately, his relatives. Sarkis is an immortal swordsman trapped in a prison of enchanted steel. When Halla draws the sword that imprisons him, Sarkis finds himself attempting to defend his new wielder against everything from bandits and roving inquisitors to her own in-laws... and the sword itself may prove to be the greatest threat of all.

Started at 3pm on a Sunday, it’s now 1am rolling into Tuesday. Of course with sleep, chores, and work, I think I made good time. In all honesty, I could not stop. It had me latched on so tightly. This book was recommended in a comment about a comic that I adore just as much (Suitor Armor). There are a handful of authors that have kept me enthralled this hard. Piers Anthony, Michael Moorcock, Neil Gaiman, and now T. Kingfisher. Thank you for this journey! I grabbed the digital version out of impatience. I will read it again with the true tactile pleasure of paper between my fingers, as it’s too wonderful to not own in physical print!
