    This fourth book in a five book series, has it all. . . intrigue, second chance love, and surprises. Boy is there a surprise! The mystery continues with more clues given, that make you ask more questions. But, we are given a few important answers. We also get the back story for Roman and Augustine. As the individual stories unfold for The Perfect Gentlemen each one becomes my favorite. No exception here. I feel like I finally understand Roman, and the love he and Gus finally acknowledge. Shayla Black and Lexi Blake have created this story that remarkably ties in with real life politics. There are so many twists and turns, murders, blackmail, enemies that turn out to be friends and vice versa. You need to read them in order or you will miss out on the clues to this ongoing mystery. But believe me you won't be sorry. This series is engrossing and so well written! I just can't rave enough. Literally cannot wait for the final book. Just sit back and go for a great ride!

    All I can say is WOW. This book was the best one yet out of the entire series. While it answered many of the questions I had while reading the first three books in this saga, it left me with many more. The fabulous tale that Shayla Black and Lexi Blake deserves more than 5 stars. As always, the characters had depth with many layers that the reader has no choice but to fall in love with Roman and Gus. The plot had so many twists and turns that the pages just flew by, and anyone who has loved the rest of the saga needs to pay very close attention to the ending. You will literally scream. I cannot wait until the next book. This was an awesome read that I highly recommend.

    How do you put words on "paper" to describe a book that totally blew your mind? Shayla Black and Lexi Blake are the masters of co-writing. Their writing styles are a well oiled machine that draws us in and then spits us out with the last turn of a page. The Perfect Gentlemen series is one of my all-time favorites to read and re-read. The seductive, intelligent, sarcastic, lead characters each meet their own match and perfect mate in each book. In Smoke and Sin, it's Roman Calder's turn, but this time it's with another of the brotherhood's sister (that won't end well...or will it?). Gus is an amazing strong female lead who doesn't need a man to tell her how to live her life. (Some days I think we all need to find a little more "Gus" in ourselves. ) As per the norm with these authors, we are left wanting more and wanting it now. Outstanding!
