Silence can create an enormous amount of peaceful joy, freedom and consolation. Under such circumstances, silence is a skill. Such a silence is called “Noble Silence.” You are silent not because you are angry with somebody or with yourself. Sometimes, someone is silent while they are angry with someone else or disappointed with themselves. Most people who are distressed and depressed are silent.
