Unusual story line as both characters bring their vulnerabilities out fairly early in the story, but I like how they built their relationship as friends to lovers.

Lacked quality and standards.

Jared Sutter is the SEAL next door. Cassie Bronson had recently gone through a divorce and was in her man-free zone. They'd become friends but both secretly wanted more. Little did Cassie know, this SEAL has a secret. A big one! Awesome story with a sexy and very sweet Navy SEAL. Loved it! I was not compensated for my review. Cassie's story is all too real, divorced and broken up with her latest boyfriend, she is insecure. Her neighbor Jared has been a really good Friend. His story is not so usual, can he see Cassie in a new light? Can she him? 5 red, white, and blue thumbs up!

In typical SEALs undone fashion, you meet an alpha male, Jared, who keeps his interactions with women light and easy. Jared believes he's unable to have a commitment with woman because he'll always be leaving. His own childhood as the son of a single mother has made him extremely sensitive to the potential for a woman in his life to end up a single mother, and he has made many serious life decisions accordingly. Cassie is a strong woman coming out on the other side of a bad marriage followed by a bad relationship. I love how she has decided that she no longer wants to be in the "friend" zone with Jared but is frustrated with her inability to convey her needs and desires to Jared. Little did she know he was suffering from a similar frustration. It was fun to watch them navigate through feelings neither one of them knew how to deal with for the other, and throw in a wrench that Cassie didn't see coming (and neither did we - something you'd NEVER expect from a Navy SEAL) and it creates a wonderful beginning of a relationship between Jared and Cassie.

Well written but extremely short and very rushed at the end. Worth reading, I finished it within an hour and a half or less.
