The How to Read section says every book and chapter is listed in the table of contents. In my version, in iBooks, only the books are listed. So if, for example, I want to quickly flip to Jeremiah 45 from somewhere in Kings, when I go to the table of contents, only the books are listed. I can either go to Jeremiah chapter 1 and page or scroll to chapter 45, or scroll in the table of contents to the outline, click to go to a chapter closer to 45, then page or scroll to 45. If the instructions say the table of contents list each chapter, I’m not sure why this doesn’t or what I’m missing. I do like all the hyperlinks from the reading to notes, however this is not easy to use for the many Bible Studies that reference verses from various books.

I have the book on iPad, iPhone, and Kindle. Unbelievable that I couldn’t get study notes on any of the devices.—-especially since it is a study Bible. Looks like I’ll be buying the old fashion version. $35 is a lot to pay for this glitchy product.

Some odd reviews here. I have used the LSB on iOS for the last four years, daily, and I like it a lot. True, the notes do not show up on the same screen as the text of the Bible, but it’s no big deal. Just click on the verse number and the notes appear. The navigation does take a little getting used to, but it’s nothing that someone can’t figure out. I love the frequent citation of the church fathers in the notes. One feature I would like to see is to make the notes that I take myself searchable. When you do a search, it goes through the Bible text and the notes, but not the notes that I myself make. It seems like that would not be a difficult feature to add. But the LSB on iOS is worth the money, IMO.

It would appear as if the ridiculous amount of money I had to pay to get this app on my iPhone and iPad was wasted! iPhone CPH about six months ago to get an update on this product and received a whole bunch of iamb so sorry’s. However it would appear as if they were just words without Meaning. The product is on usable as it is now presented. I can no longer go to book chapter and verse. I can only go to book.
  • Unusable for Viewing Notes and Passage

I am unable to view to the study notes and the Scripture passages on the same screen. Most Study Bibles either have side by side or top and bottom viewing at the same time. Also, it is not even that easy to move back and forth between the notes and the passage. If I would have known this beforehand I would not have purchased this book. Ugh! Please consider an update to address this issue so it won’t be a total loss.
