Complex enough to make it feel real, you will fall in love with the characters as you follow them back and forth, and up and down...and just when you think it couldn’t possibly get any lower, hope springs eternal. This trilogy is not just a good read, it’s an adventure!

This book subscribes to the notion of time as a set of pearls on a string, rather than the currently more fashionable notion of an infinite number of potential futures. By and large the author pulls it off and delivers a suspenseful tale of love and period detail. She has done so well with the first book I am eager to read the next two.

Wonderful story filled with interesting twists and turns! I could not put it down. Loved it!

I loved this series. Time traveling, fantasy, great love stories, and mysteries that take some effort to follow. I loved it all and I miss those characters.

Imaginative and engaging. This book is well-written and is a ton of fun. I enjoyed it very much.
