Betrayed..needed more humor

I am a Scottoline fan forever, and parts of this novel didn't disappoint but the combative relationship between Judy Carrier and her "mother" Delia became so annoying half way through the book I had to skim to move on. I always love Lisa's balance of breathless action with humor, but this story focused too much on a secondary relationship rather than the legal thrillers we are used to. I did like it, but it took 4 months to read since I had to put it down from boredom. I look forward to the next legal thriller with the male lawyer addition. I miss the books like Mistaken Identity and Think Twice. Funny, Smart, heart-pounding legal thrillers
Fabulous story line

As with all of Lisa Scottoline's books, you don't want to put them down. Storyline is great. I am looking forward to her next book.

I was very disappointed with this book.. I'm a fan of Lisa's for a long time and was so looking 4ward to this book and I feel let down and "betrayed".. Pun intended. The book felt rush and childish and a bit over the top.. I love these characters but the story as a whole disappoints.
