Was a great read. Was historical, informative, and a love story all in one. One could understand that when we think we can’t do something we realize we can.

I loved the western setting and the historical references . The story line was great and it had some mystery added in to keep you guessing. Sonja Stover Bracey

For the life of me and I'm not sure why, but this book was hard to follow. It was almost like "what the heck did I just read?" I was constantly rereading what I'd just read. I liked the storyline, location and characters. But the story itself just didn't flow. Maybe because the author had more books to write in regards to these characters? Which is true and I won't be reading the same song, second verse. I never do. But I usually don't get this choppy vibe from a book. Either it's good all the way through or I loose interest from the beginning and quit then. But I do hope for those that enjoy this first book, finds reading pleasure in the whole series.

I wish there was a bit more romance but the story was honest, refreshing and slightly suspenseful. I'm off to read more by this author.

I really enjoyed this book. The characters were believable and well developed and the story interesting.
