Anna Q's first happy ending is a good read especially, for this 60 something. She validates any woman's thoughts of reinvention.

This book is a slow and sweet story, well told. Kudos to Anna Quinlan for writing a book with characters worth caring about. I Highly recommend it.
Somewhere between easy and moving.

I enjoyed this read. It wasn't completely heartbreaking or overwhelming but offered enough emotion to keep you turning the pages. I'm ready to look for another one of her book.
Delightful

Oh I loved it--so nice to know a 60-something can have a life after " death"...gives me hope. Love her writing and sayings--avatar of peace, oh my! Will have to sample some of the other Quindlen stories now...So fun!!!
One of her best

I have loved every book she's written (except Black and Blue and the writing was great, just a painful topic.). Anna Quindlen has written a book that will speak to all of us of a certain age who have tried to resolve who we were and who we are now without being trite or formulaic.

I read this book in one rainy day... Anna is at her best. I have read all of her books and her prose is so beautiful. Rebecca Winter the lead in this story, speaks to all women. This is one of those books I will retread time and time again.
