Interesting and thought provoking book, if you like sports this book is for you. The greatest thing about this book is that you will learn about life, business and politics as well as sports

I'm not sure what took me so long to purchase this book, but I didn't spend hardly any time reading every page. Each chapter you are switching gears and changing topics. My only complaint was the book wasn't long enough. Left me wanting more. Great Read

As a fan of his radio show I knew this book would be good. Some great stories involving sports, life and a little bit of everything in between. Grab this, is an easy read but a fun read no doubt

This was truly a work of art. I've listened to this guy every morning for the past 3 years. I could literally read this book and it seemed like Colin was reading it to me. Everyone should take the time to read and take all of this in. It really is worth every penny you pay for it.

It's like a good church service; 10 minutes of singing, 10 minutes of scripture and 40 minutes of real world application. Loved it!
  • Herd it before.

Colin has a unique outlook on many topics in sports and life. I enjoy listening to his radio show during the week. The only issue I had is that most of what he wrote in the book is stuff he has already said in the air. Reading each chapter we like listening to a 5 minute segment on his show. If you don't know his show, or are not a regular listener, he has some keen and interesting topics and life that most can appreciate, but the the whole time I read the book, I just kept thinking, " I've herd this before".

I have been listening to the herd for about a year now and to know the background stories to everything preached on the show gives me new insight into his opinions. The big-picture ideas he creates help my wife and I understand the infrastructure of the sports world which creates more depth and interest in the sports themselves. Thanks for a great read.
  • Coward, not a hero

When I want to hear a far-fetched contrarian point of view designed to get a rise out of listeners, I tune into Colin Cowherd. This book is the same worthless drivel. He loves to hear himself talk to much, he got someone to listen to him talk so they could write a book as him. More worthless, uniformed sports opinion from a blow hard who’s just an obnoxious in print as he is over the airways.
