Book Synopsis

The first book in the AMP series. In a distant galaxy, humans are on the run. For a thousand years they have fled from an enemy that is bent on their annihilation. The only real defense is their home, a great station called the Grid with a faster than light drive that is unmatched for speed. Don is a Messenger not a hero. But ordinary men sometimes have a way of rising to the occasion. War is coming and fate will place him smack in the middle. Is Man ready for the 43rd Milgari war? Don Grange doesn't think so!

No political or tragedy agenda, just great fun, like the original Star Wars. Great characters and plot. I had to buy the other 7 books on Amazon for Kindle. Great series. Written by a man, and one with integrity, so why doesn’tApple doesn’t carry the rest of the series?

This book felt like it was written by a high school teen. It’s sophomoric, at best. The author requires a better editor and a beta reading team with far more life experiences. The writing itself needs help, as well.

I would have probably given this book 4 stars. The problem is the last part of chapter 6 and all of chapter 7 is unreadable. The text is just one long string with no line feeds. The author needs to fix it. I sent him an email and hope he will let me know when he updates it.

I found the story concept very interesting even if a little far fetched even for a science fiction novel. It is sort of like Cuba taking on the US of A and Cuba wins. It just won't happen. I also found the writing stilted & very repetitive. It is not compelling enough to want to get the other books in the series.
