Book Synopsis

French-Australian poet Miguel Jacq (‘Black Coat City‘, 2013) returns with his second collection of work. Where his debut release studied the rather insular nature of anxiety in individuals, Magnetics uses words and photography to explore the laws of attraction and repulsion between all things.

Magnetics examines the interaction between man and machine, the living and the dead, truth and lies, reason and insanity. It demonstrates that all matter doesn’t just exist, but is endlessly mutating, influenced by the presence (or lack of presence) of other things.

Miguel Jacq lives in Melbourne, Australia where he runs (some say ruins) an I.T business.

His work has been published in print and online by The Blue Hour Press, Dagda Publishing, Deep Water Literary Journal, Kind of a Hurricane Press and Vox Poetica.
