Love love love !

First 150 pages are a bit painful- there's little context to the barrage of fantasy words and it's hard to track what's going on. After that it catches a stride and tells a complex story that you can rip through. Looking forward to the next book!

Sarah has an imagination second to none and paints a world like no other. She exercises your mind and emotions in every paragraph. It will be very interesting to see where she takes this story in her next book. Her character building will have you thinking of them and what they themselves might do.

I tried to get through this book but I can’t finish it. It’s just so boring. It started out strong and intriguing but when the main character decided to just hang out in a jungle for several chapters, refusing to fix her amnesia I was done. World building is cool, main character is annoying.

Absolutely fantastic read that had me immersed from the beginning!!! I couldn’t put this book down and now I absolutely cannot wait for book 2!

Talk about leaving us in the dark! Such a good fantasy read. The world building is top notch. The author keeps you on your toes throughout the entire book. Love the visuals included! Other authors should take note the family tree, pronunciation guide and glossary were all so helpful. Made me appreciate the book even more. I need the second book ASAP, it’s going to be a long 13 months!

Characters and story were well developed and complex. A great story!
