Delightful mystery strong characters and sweet love story. Just what you expect from Cheryl Bolen.

Predictable but yet a refreshing little read. Just right to read instead of sex,vampires and were-animals.

Not your average romance novel. Mrs. Bolen intermingles the characters desire while keeping you guessing. It was magnificent.

Loved the book. Interesting throughout. Exciting, keeping my interest at all times. One of my objections about authors is when they end the story abruptly. This story was ended completely and made me feel good which is why I read to begin with. Thank you!

A fan of historical romances, this one was quite fun to read and fairly original plot

Lovely suspense funny

Good, but too much like Jane Eyre, a book that I loved. So, the ripped off scenario with a few noticeable changes doesn't really sit well with me. However, I'm sure romance readers who haven't read Jane Eyre will love it.

I found the book to be a good read! I will be reading other selections by the author.
