I love reading anything by Kaci Rose. I can't get enough of her stories. I have been a fan of this series since the beginning. It's Owen's turn now to be the Man of the Month. Owen heads to the mountain for fishing and to get away from Ruth's schemes. He doesn't realize that he would meet his future. Kennedy is hoping to find the exact spot where her grandparents got engaged. They share proximity campsites until a rockslide happens. Owen and Kennedy are about to spend several days together. A sweet short novella that has Mr. October falling before he even sets up his tent. Enjoyed this quick romance as he falls first, unsuspecting anyone at this super private camping site, Owen his surprised and smitten with the lovely Kennedy. Simple and wholesome, Owen find’s himself in love just by being in the right place with the perfect girl for him. There’s something intimate about nature that makes for the perfect romance! Owen & Kennedy are the BEST! I have loved every single one of the Mountain Men books, but this is my favorite. Owen is dodging a local event & Kennedy was just planning a birthday get a way to her grandparents favorite spots, but fate had other plans. Highly recommend! This series can be read as a standalone. Ruby, the mayor’s wife chooses a mountain man to match up every month. Well October is Owen’s turn! He tries to get away from the town by going camping. While doing that, he meets Kennedy. Kennedy is from New York and is looking to take pictures and see where her grandfather proposed to her grandmother there. Kennedy and Owen have an immediate interest in each other. They both feel the spark between them but are afraid to act on it. They spend time together in Owen’s cabin and are both at ease with each other. Owen is afraid to ask Kennedy to stay with him and Kennedy is afraid to assume anything. This book was incredible! This author does a great job of creating well rounded, likable characters. I would definitely recommend this book!. Next up is Owen who leaves town to avoid Ruby and her meddling ways. He wasn’t expecting Kennedy to be in his camping spot. Kennedy is looking for the spot her grandparents got engaged. She wasn’t expecting to find Owen. When she gets hurt and a rockslide sidelines they’re camping he takes care of her. When they get back to reality will Owen let fear keep him and Kennedy apart.
