  • Wonderful story

This is a fascinating read. The baseline of the story is there but the author has clearly made the original their own. I want more of the characters backstory so I will definitely be reading the rest of the this series. The characters are loud, vibrant and connectable. The plot latches onto your brain. The story takes hostage of you and won’t let go. Great story!

I enjoyed the book and will continue the series! The spice is a good amount. Yet the story keeps you on your toes guessing one thing and the next.
  • Tinker Bell like you’ve never seen HIM before!

King of Nothing is the first book in the Brutal Never Boys trilogy and does ends on a cliffhanger. This is a retelling of Peter Pan. It is spicy and does contain some shock factor scenes. This is not the Peter Pan from your childhood. Spice level (1-5): 🌶️🌶️🌶️ Kink level (1-3): ⛓️ MM, MFMM, MFM, breath play, bondage, 9un play, knife play, etc I would recommend King of Nothing to fans of spicy retellings. If you love Peter Pan, Neverland, why choose, unhinged men, twins/changelings, adventure, fae, dark romance, enemies to lovers, you’ll love King of Nothing. Read the trigger warnings. This book does contain male on male action, dub con, improper use of a gvn, psychotic behavior, etc. For the fans of the Vicious Lost Boys series this one is for you! Warning: Reading King of Nothing may make you wish your name was Wendy Darling. May make you want to be abducted and taken to Neverland by four hot guys. May make you wonder about shadows. May make you never able to look at Tinker Bell the same again. May make you giggle. Read responsibly. *I received an Advance Reader Copy for free via Booksprout and I am leaving an honest review of my own volition. All thoughts are my own.*
  • The kids are grown up

Well you won't think about Peter Pan the same after this story. The kids are grown-up and more. Wendy just thinks she might be ordinary but may not exactly be. This book twists the story but in a good way so your perception will be changed just a bit. We get bits and pieces of everyone's history to know something bad happened to them to end up in Never Land. I thought this was a real good book and hope the story gets better. • Great Peter Pan Retelling

Great twist on the retelling of one of my favorite stories. Wendy, Peter, Hook and the Lost Boys are all twisted up into the dream and reality of Neverland and the real world. So many twists and turns I am not really sure who to love in this story. I love them all equally, including Hook. I feel all their tragedies. There are some crazy moments that came out of seemingly no where. The cliffhanger was soft and perfect for where a Peter Pan retelling would end. I am excited to see where this series takes us. Looking forward to it Mona Black. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
