Book Synopsis

Rose's life takes an unexpected turn when she wakes up to find herself in the arms of a cowboy who claims she's his, but what will happen when her memory starts to come back and she realizes that he's been lying to her?

Miles has always been the guy who looks out for everyone in Rock Springs, Texas. As a state trooper and part-time cowboy, he's the epitome of a small town hero. But when he finds Rose unconscious on the side of the road, he becomes something more: her knight in shining armor.

Rose wakes up in the hospital with no memory of who she is or how she got there. Miles is quick to come to her side and tells her that she is his. As Rose's memory slowly starts to return, Rose realizes that Miles has been lying to her. She's not sure if she can trust him, even though her heart tells her she should.

Miles knows he should have been honest with Rose from the start, but he couldn't resist the chance to protect her. Now he's caught in a web of lies, and the only way out is to come clean and hope that Rose can forgive him.

    Another simply sweet and respectfully steamy romance by Kaci M. Rose that packs a lot in just a few pages. This author has a way of delivering a great storyline, thoroughly developing her characters and leaving you with a smile all within an hour or two read. In this one Texas State Trooper, Miles Warner, finds Rose Hudson unconscious and claims her as his at first sight while getting her emergency help. She wakes up several days later with amnesia and Miles leads her to believe that they have been a couple for some time and takes her to his home to recover. What happens between the two will keep you turning the pages as the story unravels.     Retelling of sleeping beauty. Rose wakes up from hospital bed and find handsome Miles claims she is his. She is suffering from amnesia after falling from her horse. With Mile's help she is slowly regaining her memory but will she realize Miles is not her lover?1` Miles helped Rose and he couldn't just ignore her. So he tells her she belong to him except it's a lie but he is willing to risk as long as she would forgive him later. This is sweet and short. Miles seems like a good guy from beginning to end and HEA makes it more better. This can be stand alone. I haven't read the previous books but I would love to read the other ones after reading this one. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

What happens to Rose when her father passes away and what she thought would be hers…now belongs to her stepmother..devastated she takes her horse for a long overdue ride but she falls and ends up with amnesia…in rides Miles to save her… I voluntarily read an advanced reader copy (ARC) of this book from BookSprout. All thoughts and opinions are my own. 4.5 stars

    As the title implies, this is a fairy tale retelling of Sleeping Beauty, complete with a prince, wicked stepmother and stepsisters. After Rose’s father died, her stepmother got the ranch that had been in Rose’s family for generations. Visiting from college on Spring Break to make sure everything was running properly, she hits her head while out riding and is knocked unconscious. Rescued by Miles, a Texas State Trooper, he tells her she is his and since she has amnesia, she believes that they have been in a relationship for some time. The book started out slow, understandably, because Miles didn’t want to start a relationship based on lies but it didn’t stay that way long. He was a big teddy bear with Rose and I loved every minute of it. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

    This is a retelling of Sleeping Beauty and I simply loved it! Miles is a Texas Ranger who fell in love with the small town of Rock Springs and stayed there. Rose is home on Spring Break from college. She is hoping to fix up her father’s ranch. Since he passed away last year, her stepmother has not taken care of it. This author does an incredible job of telling Miles and Rose’s story. Getting to know this version of the fairytale was such a joy. Miles and Rose support each other so well. A definite must read especially for those that grew up reading Sleeping Beauty!. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

    This is a quick, sweet read from the Cowboys of Rock Springs,Texas. Rose wakes up in the Hospital and into the eyes of the most handsome Cowboy she’s ever seen, but with no memory of who she is or how she got there. Right off the bat, he tells her she is his and will take care of her. She doesn’t recall her past, her father passing away and the ranch going to her step mother. Things are not right with that and Miles decides to check Into the lawyer that handled everything for her dad. Wonderful characters that are believable and loving.     Miles has a gut punched reaction when he firsts gets a glimpse of Rose. An instant connection, but will Rose still feel the same once she learns the truth. Don’t want to give away the plot, but there is definitely some explanations that will need to be done. Loved the sincerity and care Miles always showed. Wonderful outcome for this storyline. I am voluntarily leaving a review for this book that I received free.
