    Bit of a slow burn at first but truly got better every single chapter. Lots of great nods to It, Lord of the Flies, and other classics. Solid 4.5 stars! My only qualm is it really just take about 100-120 pages to pick up the pace. But the book does pick up speed. Great read!

    Loved this book! One of the most disturbing books I have ever read, just absolutely made you feel weird... I couldn't put it down! If you enjoy horror, this is an absolute must! Highly recommend!

    The troop does an excellent job of creating a suspenseful atmosphere! The book felt less of a thrilling novel and more of a dreadful tragedy. Surgically descriptive in illustrating the horrific setting, I’m sure to be looking forward to reading future books from Nick Cutter!
