An amazing story of complete surrender to God’s Will. Best book I have ever read.

I have read this book several times. Each time I learn something new from the insights of this priest. I appreciate his insights about God in the midst of the worst possible circumstances. His experiences help me as I face my own.

“He Leadeth Me” is the inspiring story of Father Walter J. Ciszek. From his journey in pre-war Poland to a prison camp in Siberia, I learned so much from his extraordinary testimony of faith. I especially learned what it means to follow God’s will in times of trial with joy and trust, and he does this in such an engaging way as you walk through the stories of his incredible life.

Unbelievably great book about Father Ciszek's spiritual journey through Lubianka Prison, slave labor camps in Siberia, and as a priest under constant surveillance and harassment in Soviet Russia. His heroic virtue, his joy in suffering, and his simple humanity are inspiring. I'd recommend reading his book With God in Russia first, since it is like a portrait of Father Ciszek's body while He Leadeth Me paints a picture of his soul.
