This is a very interesting book. It is very easy to read and understand. The examples that are used in the book are very easy to follow and relate to. Dr. Cauraugh does a very good job explaining each topic that is addressed in the e-book. I really like that this is an e-book instead of a paper back book because that is one less book, as a college student, that I have to carry around. Most students carry around a laptop or iPad so it is nice to have access to the book via a laptop or iPad. I have had a statistics class before as well as had to do a lot of research for other classes throughout my college career, but this book puts everything that I have learned together and reemphasizes how statistics and research are important factors if you want to make sure your information is both valid and reliable. Information can be reliable but not valid but if something is valid then it must be reliable. I have heard that in other classes before but it all came together in this book. I like that there are graphs and tables in this book to help explain things like experimental designs and if things have a significant interaction or not. Before this book I did not know what a significant interaction was. From this book I have learned how to do a true experiment and I also learned the difference between refereed journals and ones that are not refereed. Refereed journals are the best way to get valid and reliable information because it had been reviewed and accepted by peers. All in all it is a very easy read but it has a lot of useful information that will be beneficial to all of our future careers whether that be in the medical field or not, this is good information that anyone can use.
