    Kept me nicely diverted while on a long plane flight. I don't regret the time spent reading it. But I often felt like it was a less-imaginative and less-ambitious retread of some material from Snow Crash. Read that first if you haven't yet.

    What an amazing book, story, tale... Etc Ect. The first time I read this I was amazed and my mind was spinning with possibilities. The second time brought the same reaction. I can not recommend this book enough. The way this author pieced together the story just speaks volumes about his writing ability. Especially if someone such as myself can recognize it :)

    The story was okay, but I feel like both the story and the characters were not fleshed out very well. There was so much that could've been done, but nothing was. In addition, the ending was forgettable. I just finished reading this about 2 weeks ago, and found myself sitting around today trying to recall how it ended. I eventually got it, but it took awhile. It clearly doesn't stick with you.

    What a clever book! A love story. A book about the power of words and persuasion through history, through sorcery, through propaganda, through shysterism, politics and power. A book about what makes people tick. A sci-fi thriller. Engrossing. You can read it as a great way to pass time, or as a psychological study -- or anywhere in between. Have fun! I highly recommend.

    Sorry but this was one of the worst edited books I've read in a long time. The transitions were awful. Please do us all a favor and fire your editors. The story had an interesting premise, but turned out to be a crass, zombie book in disguise. The female characters were empty and obviously dreamt up by the male brain. I wanted more; I am disappointed.
