I enjoyed the book but felt it was more like a book that was only half done. It didn’t really move you in the plot but dropped you there with explanation made along the way. I didn’t like the use of numbers that didn’t tell you anything or where to go to look.

I love this series. As soon as I spot Kay Hooper's name, I can not download fast enough. I enjoy paranormal and it is a nice twist to put their abilities to work as a team of criminal investigators. The plots are interesting yet not so far fetched as to be beyond the realm of possibility. Paranormal has to remain somewhat believeable to keep my interest and this series does not disappoint. If you are looking for a lot of blood, this is not the series for you. She does not go into graphic details about the condition of the body. Her writing is more about triumph of good over evil with some help from special skills such as seeing spirits, seeing auras, telepathy, and feeling emotions of others as an empath. The series is based around its leader, Noah Bishop who heads up this secret team of very special investigators. He is linked telepathically with his wife Miranda and most of his team members. It is light reading yet I find I usually read them in one sitting and this one was no exception. I eagerly await the next and hope to see a couple of them team up romantically as well as telepathicly. Fun read.
