A humorous but helpful approach to what the Bible says about sex.

The Song of Solomon poems describe an illicit sexual relationship Solomon had with one of his wives. Three commandments are broken in the course of their relationship. God commands married couples to build families (Genesis 1:28). There is a lot of sex described in Song of Solomon, but no mention of the natural outcome of sex, children. God commands that there be no other gods before him (Exodus 20:3). The only ones being worshipped in Song of Solomon are Solomon and his wife. They idolize each other. Never is God praised or worshipped. His character is never extolled. He barely gets a passing mention. In Deuteronomy 17, God commands that leaders of Israel are only to have one wife. In Song of Solomon 6:8-10, Solomon compares his new bride to his sixty other wives and his eighty sex slaves. Song of Solomon is a warning against pursuing pleasure. Read Solomon’s conclusion in Ecclesiastes 2.

Great👍🏾 So happy there's sound biblical teaching and answers on marriage and sex and things relating to the subject. I got many questions I once had answered. It's funny and so easy to understand and follow. As they would say it's a real page turner 📖

Archaic, homophobic, chauvinistic, misinterpreted crap. Just light something on fire to kill time instead of reading this "book."

Is not feminism, it is female chauvinism. That is the only criticism I, as a newlywed non believer, can offer to this otherwise well written and thought out work. I was only offended as a feminist by the misuse of the term when he said now this part would offend them, as it was about the different roles of the sexes in marriage. But even with the different roles he insisted the sexes were equal in personhood, which is what feminism is all about, raising women all over the world to equality of personhood under the law, not raising them above men(that's your female chauvinism). This is actually the most feminist version of marriage I have seen preached by any church.

The book is a series of messages delivered by a minister who has done his research in order to ensure readers of the message of sex from a Godly prospective. This book goes through the entire book of Song of Solomon and spells out what a marriage should look like.
