I received a complimentary copy of this book from Sourcebook Casablanca Publishing via NetGalley and I am voluntarily reviewing it. This was a delightful tale. I really enjoyed the story of Wilhelm (Vim) and Sophia's (Sophie) along with Baby Kit (My Lord Baby). Unfortunately this is the first story of the series that I have read. It was just a little confusing as to the order and circumstances of birth of all of Sophie's siblings. Getting past that was easy if you just concentrate on the story though. There were scenes that had me laughing so hard and others were I couldn't stop the tears. While I so enjoy an English historical told in the proper English way, I was extremely happy to be reading on an e-reader. There were terms that just eluded my comprehension but reading a historical romance is such an enjoyable way to learn. I adored Vim and Sophie both. The way that they came together to care for Kit. Poor Kit, his mother abandons him to into her employer's care the wonderful Lady Sophia. Neither Sophie or Vim use their title when introducing themselves at the inn where they meet during London's worst snowstorm. This causes a great deal of mix-up between the characters and their intentions later! I did enjoy the multiple POV format that the author used. Getting into the different characters' mind really helped me to understand and enjoy them so much better. There were some bedroom scenes that were not written in graphic detail but would be more appropriate for someone over 18. If you enjoy a good historical romance, you may enjoy this one. The only con for me, there were some places that just seemed a little unnecessary and added to the word count but it did not detract from the story.

I truly enjoyed this book. Then again I attribute my renewed interesting in reading to Grace Burrowes. All three books of her books were a delight despite wishing the Windham brothers books were all done first. The Virtuoso comes out next month but I do wish, and fo the sake of continuity it should've been published first. All the same I will say that with this author I'd be happy simply sitting and reDing her work all day. At this point I've read all that's she's published and loved it. There are a few typographical errors in the book but I'm sure most won't notice them. The relationship amongst the brothers have always been my favorite in all the books regardless of the main plot. Sophie and Vim are endearing while Kit is adorable. I can't wait for more books!

This book was a delight. I loved the a addition of "Lord Baby" also know as "Kit". The heart of the book was healing. Sophie healing from always having to be "Miss Dependable" and Vem his perceived humiliation and baby Kit will one day have to heal from abandonment. Because of love you know everything will be ok. Most excellent. I can't wait to read Val & Ellen's story. Ps. I also loved the other two books.
