Jaw dropping perspective. A must read for parent struggling with adolescence in reference to the “talk”.

Reads like a parody of radical feminist literature with the genders swapped. From a 10,000 ft perspective there’s some ideas worth exploring here, primary how women use soft power to their advantage. I would’ve liked to see more evidence to support her arguments, there’s a couple spots she cites research but this reads more like a manifesto. Since today’s discourse around gender politics usually devolves into “Men oppress women, end of story”, this book is at least another take against that mainstream idea, even if it’s a nuclear hot take. Read this with a critical lens.

Really insightful… while I suspected most things I read… it also put some things in to perspective of past relationships…

Gutsy writing. Interesting insights. Very relevant in the 2000s. Esther Vilar demonstrates guts that no western male has!

The time is now for men to wake up to the reality that's been created for us. This book is unflinching, an eye-opener and, dare I say it, a must-read for all men and especially fathers

The author has hit the ball out of the park with this book! She articulates what I've been feeling since I was a teenager. Thank you so much.

For those of you interested in exploring the concepts of misandry, sexism against men, and male disposability, this is a must read.
