This is classic Disney at its best with Jim Dear & Darling and of course, Lady, Tramp & Trusty. Not to be missed. It is a very short read, depending on your child's age. Of course, you can always go to the pics and point things out to the very young ones. I read this to my son as a baby and now, at nine, he still enjoys it on occasion when he can only remain awake for 5 minutes or so. As a toddler I could stretch this book out and read it to him for 30-45 minutes, if I wanted. I would point out each character and talk about the kind of dogs they were, comment on the food (spaghetti & meatballs @ Tony's Restaurant) & involve my son in the story. Today, he loves to read. So, enjoy!
